What Can I Expect During Treatment?

We inject Jeuveau into target muscles, specifically around the eyes, forehead, and brow, to paralyze the area and smooth the skin for a youthful, radiant appearance. In addition, this product blocks communications between the brain and the nerve ending of the targeted muscle, which slows expression movement and dynamic wrinkles. 

Follow-up injections are necessary for optimal results. We will advise how often you need to return for more treatments. Most of our patients enjoy their results for three to six months.

Jeuveau is a minimally-invasive, safe, and effective anti-aging treatment that employs neurotoxin that has been thoroughly tested and proven safe and effective. During your friendly and informative consultation, we will answer questions about the product and procedure.

There is little to no downtime with Jeuveau. Some patients experience mild bruising, but this is the exception, not the rule. After your treatment session, you can return to your typical day once you leave our clinic.

How Long Does Jeuveau Take to Work?

How Long Does Jeuveau Last?

Jeuveau benefits can last anywhere from three and six months. However, for some patients, their outcome may remain for a more extended period, while others will diminish quicker. In addition, people with a greater muscle mass find the product will metabolize faster, meaning they will need another session sooner than those with less muscle mass.

BOTOX vs. Jeuveau

Jeuveau is the fourth botulinum toxin type A to be introduced in the United States—Botox^® was the first in 2002. Then came Dysport in 2009, and afterward, Xeomin^® in 2011. Out of this selection, Jeuveau is the first toxin to be formulated with the same molecular weight as Botox^®.

With its similar chemical composition, Jeuveau is the most similar to Botox^® in terms of results. However, recent data have shown that the complex proteins surrounding the active molecular core in Jeuveau and Botox^® are necessary for the best results. The other neuromodulators, Xeomin^® and Dysport, either lack these complex proteins or have less in their formulations. Yet, studies have indicated that Jeuveau may have a quicker onset of benefits and last longer than BOTOX.
